Working With Me
I work with people who are ready to become curious about themselves.
People who sense that there may be more to what they are experiencing than the symptoms alone — and who are willing to slow down, look beneath the surface and become active participants in their own wellbeing.
My work brings together Five Element Acupuncture, Compassionate Inquiry, somatic awareness and an understanding of pain and the nervous system.
There isn’t a single approach that works for everyone. How we work together will depend on you, what you’re experiencing and what you need.
What matters most is that you are open to exploring, willing to be curious and prepared to engage with the process. I don’t believe in simply treating a symptom and sending you on your way. I want to understand the person experiencing it.
Is this work for you?
This work may be particularly suited to you if:
● you have been living with persistent or recurring pain, symptoms or health concerns and want to understand them differently
● you feel that something in your life is asking to be explored more deeply
● you are interested in the relationship between your body, emotions, experiences and nervous system
● you have tried different approaches but still feel that something is being missed
● you are willing to become curious about your patterns rather than simply trying to get rid of them
● you want support that considers the whole person, rather than separating mind and body
● you are ready to take an active role in your own healing and change.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. But you do need to be willing to look.
Ways we can work together:
Five Element Acupuncture
Initial consultation & first treatment: 90 minutes · £95
Follow-up treatments: £65
Acupuncture is the foundation of my practice and remains at the heart of my work.
Treatment is not simply about the symptom you arrive with. We look at you as a whole person — your physical health, emotional landscape, patterns, relationships and the things that may be affecting your sense of balance and wellbeing.
Our first appointment gives us time to talk properly, understand what is bringing you to me and begin treatment without rushing. I usually recommend weekly treatment for the first 4-5 sessions, then as needed.
Somatic Sessions
Online · 75 minutes · £79
These sessions are for people who want to explore what is happening beneath the surface of their symptoms, patterns or struggles.
Drawing on Compassionate Inquiry, somatic approaches, mindfulness and current understandings of pain and the nervous system, we explore the ways your experiences may be held in — and expressed through — your body.
This isn’t about analysing your life endlessly, nor is it about finding someone else to tell you what to do. It is a process of becoming more aware of what is happening within you, developing a different relationship with your thoughts, emotions and sensations, and discovering where change may be possible.
We work at a pace that allows you to stay connected to yourself while gently exploring what may previously have felt difficult to access.
Acupuncture + Somatic Work
Sometimes the most appropriate approach is not either/or.
For some people, acupuncture provides a valuable way into the work through the body, while our conversations allow us to explore the experiences, patterns and beliefs that may sit alongside what you’re experiencing.
Where appropriate, we can weave these approaches together.
This is an individual process rather than a fixed programme, and we can decide together what feels most useful.
I don’t see myself as someone who has all the answers, I see my role as creating the conditions for you to understand yourself more deeply, to listen differently to your body and to become more aware of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Sometimes that process is gentle. Sometimes it asks more of us.
If you’re looking for a quick fix, I may not be the right practitioner for you.
But if you’re curious about what might be possible when you stop fighting your body, become interested in your patterns and are willing to look a little deeper, I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s begin
You don’t need to know exactly which way of working is right for you.
Get in touch and we can have an initial conversation about what is bringing you here, what you’re looking for and whether I might be the right person to work with you.
